All the subtle complexity and richness, bright fruit and
creamy texture you’ve come to love in the Jessup Cellars Chardonnay. Winemaker
Rob Lloyd’s magic touch with this variety is uniquely displayed in this
stunning bottling produced in a particularly challenging vintage. A lovely lemon-gold in the glass, this
Chardonnay will show its many facets best at 60°F, but sings for warm weather
sipping when well chilled. Aromas of citrus fruit, gardenia, young banana and
ginger met by a creamy, lemon meringue texture and a lively finish, touched by
orange zest and persistent acidity. Though
you’ll find yourself sipping this wine far before dinner is served, there is no
better Chardonnay to compliment citrus-dressed salads, fresh crab, and lobster
or even roast duck or pork.
